These tiny mangrove creatures are no bigger than a normal fingernail and inhabit the extreme and beautiful remote shorelines of the Kimberley region in far northwest Australia. See funny video

The intertidal world is also populated by millions of small colored crabs.

The photographer has been photographing and filming in this region since 1985 and has created this unique collection of extraordinary macro photographs that defy description. They are at once, fascinating images of tiny marine creatures, and depictions of fantastic characters that could have been created for an animated hollywood space movie - but they are real living animals. See video

All prints are photographed 'on location' on the mudflats and among the tidal mangrove forests of the outback Kimberley coast.
